DRY MOUTH – (xerostomia, hyposalivation) is a condition in which there is a reduced or complete cessation of saliva secretion. The condition can be very unpleasant and it is very important to contact the dentist in order to provide the necessary information and easier resolution of the condition. Dryness can be caused by various causes. The condition itself is not dangerous, but as a result it can cause health problems in the form of caries or gastritis.
CHANGES IN THE MOUTH – If you notice that the state of your oral cavity is changing, you should contact your dentist. The changes can be painful or painless, of different shapes and sizes. The causes can be various. For example, prosthetic works that are in the way or are not well positioned, fillings that are not polished.
TEETH GRINDING (bruxism) – Bruxism, by definition, is a strong clenching of the teeth, most often at night, and is manifested by a reduction in the biting surfaces of the teeth. The patient feels pain in the area of the ear, eye, jaw joint or masticatory muscles. The therapy is simple and usually consists of a splint worn at night.
